CHE COS’È?

Il pavimento laminato è un tipo di rivestimento per pavimenti composto da più strati, tra cui un supporto in fibra di legno, uno strato di pellicola decorativa e uno strato protettivo. La classe di un pavimento laminato indica la sua resistenza all’usura e la sua idoneità a diversi ambienti e tipi di utilizzo.

thirty-one CLASSE

The class thirty-one is suitable for low-traffic residential areas, such as bedrooms and home offices. It has good wear resistance but is not recommended for high-traffic or wet areas.

thirty-two CLASSE

The class thirty-two is suitable for residential areas with medium traffic, such as living rooms, hallways, and kitchens. It offers greater resistance to wear and light compared to class thirty-one, making it also suitable for offices with light traffic.

thirty-three CLASSE

The class thirty-three is suitable for commercial areas with medium traffic, such as shops, restaurants, and offices with heavy traffic. It is highly resistant to wear, scratches, and stains, making it ideal for environments with a high number of people walking on the floor.

thirty-four CLASSE

The class thirty-four is the most resistant of all classes and is used in high-traffic commercial areas, such as shopping centers, airports, and hospitals. It is extremely resistant to wear, scratches, and water, making it suitable even for light industrial environments.

CARATTERISTICHE DI PRODUZIONE

I pavimenti laminati vengono prodotti pressando insieme diversi strati sotto pressione e calore. Lo strato di supporto in fibra di legno fornisce stabilità e resistenza al pavimento, mentre lo strato di pellicola decorativa crea l’aspetto del pavimento. Lo strato protettivo superiore viene poi applicato per proteggere il pavimento da usura, graffi e macchie. La qualità dei materiali utilizzati e il processo di produzione determinano la durata e le prestazioni del pavimento laminato.

La classe dei pavimenti in laminato indica il loro livello di resistenza e durata. Viene determinata sulla base di test di usura, resistenza all’abrasione, all’urto e agli agenti chimici.

The higher classes (forty-one to sixty) are designed to withstand heavy wear, such as that of shops or offices.

The choice of class depends on the intended use of the floor. For residential apartments, a class thirty-one to thirty-three is generally sufficient. For public premises, it is advisable to opt for higher classes (forty-one to forty-three).

Per appartamenti, le classi consigliate sono:

• Classe 31: camere da letto e studi
• Classe 32: soggiorni e corridoi
• Classe 33: cucine e bagni

Per locali pubblici, le classi consigliate sono:

• Classe 41: uffici e negozi
• Classe 42: scuole e ospedali
• Classe 43: aeroporti e stazioni

Per pavimenti riscaldati, è importante scegliere un laminato adatto che non si deformerà o danneggerà a causa del calore. È consigliabile optare per classi con un numero più alto, come trentatre o superiori, che sono progettate per resistere alle alte temperature.
